Jasper Engines and Transmissions associates have both an employer-matched 401k plan as well as an ESOP available to help them save for their retirement.

ESOP is employee ownership of the company. There are currently 3,419 active associate shareholders and in the 16-year history it has become the 27th largest ESOP and one of America's top performing ESOPs, period. The ESOP provides periodic opportunities for distributions and diversification depending upon seniority and asset level.

The 401k program offers a variety of investment options for asset accumulation and a match by the company. For those associates over 59 ½ years old, the plan has an In-Service rollover provision that allows them to get an early start on planning for retirement.

Kimball International employees have an employer match 401k plan that was recently moved from Vanguard to Fidelity. It has the standard 59 1/2 In-Service rollover. They also have a “55 plus 5” provision written into the plan document that allows for employees over age 55 with 5 years of service to access some of their retirement savings to get an early start on planning for retirement.
